International awards news | Daqi design won IPA annual public building and leisure Awards

Recently, the International Property Awards (IPA) 2021-2022 annual Awards ceremony was held on line grandly.Two completed projects designed by China Architecture Design& Research Group stood out from thousands of entries around the world and won the IPA Awards in Asia Pacific Region. Zhoujun Museum won the IPA Public Service Architecture Award. The Dream of The Drama "Peony Pavilion" won the IPA Leisure ArchitectureAward.
Award Ceremony Video Cao Xiaoxin, the Principal Architect of these two winning projects, is the deputy chief architect of China Architecture Design and Research Group (CADG) and the director of DAQI ARCHITECTS . He accepted online interview from BBC presenter at the awards ceremony. He introduced CADG of it's glorious history and Outstanding performanc and interpreted the design concept of these two projects. He also expressed appreciation to the design team and clients.

Zhaojun Museum is designed to ‘memorize Wang Zhaojun, a ‘princess from 2000 years ago. Her marriage established a friendly relationship between Xiongnu and Han dynasty. Our design has a focus on materi’ality. Considering the park’s historical neighborhood, the service building is elegantly designed and shows a humble gesture. Some functions such as tourist center, community lounge, and retails stores are merged into the historical blocks, making a connection between the park and the neighborhood.
